Allan worked for twenty years in the Toronto advertising industry as a photographer, director and editor of national TV commercials. His work for major national brands received recognition in both the US and Canada with a number of prestigious awards, including the 1992 Gold Bessie for the best TV commercial in Canada that year. In 2016 Allan and his family moved to Florida and he opened his studio on Longboat Key. He offers the finest quality service for portraits, headshots, weddings, commercial and editorial photography.

He lives in Bradenton with his wife Robyne and his two children, Luke, 9, and Isla, 6. Outside of his work for hire Allan is a passionate street photographer and has received much recognition for his photo series the Streets of Paradise Project which documents and humanizes the homeless in SW Florida.
